I recently posted on FB… “I don’t trust anyone who is not visibly stressed out right now.”

Just to clarify, that post was intended for people across the entire political spectrum. More importantly, I know for certain that many people are currently more stressed than usual due to uncertainty—either feeling that they cannot control it or being at a loss about how to take action.

I have been told, lately, by too many that I need to step back, stop watching and reading the news, and ignore it all. Well, that IS NOT an option as I believe what is happening is way too important to ignore… and IMHO it should not be an option for you (and pretty difficult to execute regardless). So I have made an effort to find people I can talk with, groups I can follow, and other methods of allowing myself some grace. The following suggestion is in that vein…

Children naturally possess a remarkable ability to notice the subtle signs and wonders that fill the world with magic. They see beauty in every detail—from the delicate flutter of a butterfly’s wings to the vibrant hues of a sunset—and effortlessly find a sense of belonging in the vast tapestry of life. Their innate curiosity and wonder remind us that the world is a canvas of endless possibilities, waiting to be explored and appreciated, no matter how small the moment may seem.

As adults, we often find ourselves caught up in the routines and responsibilities of everyday life, and the current political stressors are adding to that exponentially, gradually losing sight of that childlike awe and the power. Yet, deep within us lies an unspoken yearning to reconnect with the natural marvels around us—to feel at home in a world that constantly offers signs of hope and beauty. Embracing the perspective of children can help us rediscover that sense of wonder, “allowing us to find solace and inspiration in the simple, yet profound, experiences that surround us every day.”

Create some RETURN ON RELATIONSHIP with yourself… ➡️ Make time each day to reconnect with your inner child—I promise, it will make a difference… AND in so many positive way beyond what I have shared here. ⬅️
